Extensive collection of rare cycads, caudiciforms, trees, aloes, orchids and stag-horn ferns acquired and cared for over many years finally needed to be arranged, displayed in a more natural context. A front-yard soil was formed into swells and mounds to accommodate seasonal rain water flow and provide maximum drainage for precious specimens. Exotic icy blue boulders signal to the viewer that this garden, even in the dormant season, is extra special.
